Ho iniziato all’età di 9 anni lo studio della fisarmonica a bottoni partecipando a concorsi nazionali ed internazionali
Molto importante fu per me l’incontro con il Maestro Ivano Scattolini, fisarmonicista mantovano di origini gitane che influenzò in maniera determinante il mio stile di suonare
La realtà della vita della gente, la strada, i locali notturni, i teatri e le feste sono le immagini e le ispirazioni che più mi rappresentano
Nell’adolescenza ho dedicato una buona parte del mio tempo all’approfondimento del pianoforte: strumento che ritengo di fondamentale importanza per ampliare la conoscenza e gli orizzonti sonori
Ho avuto la fortuna di collaborare con molti musicisti ed esibirmi in contesti differenti tra loro, spaziando dal jazz alla musica etnica, dalla musica popolare allo swing in stile Gorni Kramer (che ebbi l’onore di conoscere da bambino nella sua casa natale di Rivarolo Mantovano)

I started studying the button accordion at the age of 9 by participating in national and international competitions
Very important for me was the meeting with Maestro Ivano Scattolini, accordionist from Mantua of gypsy origins who influenced in a decisive way my style of playing the instrument
The reality of people’s lives, the street, nightclubs, theaters and parties are the images and inspirations that most represent me
In my adolescence I spent the most part of my time to the deepening of the piano: an instrument that I consider of fundamental importance to expand the knowledge and the sound horizons
I had the good fortune to collaborate with many musicians and perform in different contexts, ranging from jazz to ethnic music, from popular music to Gorni Kramer style swing (artist that I had the honor to get to know as I was a child in his home in Rivarolo Mantovano)

Ich habe mit 9 Jahren angefangen, das Knopfakkordeon zu lernen, indem ich an nationalen und internationalen Wettbewerben teilgenommen habe
Sehr wichtig war für mich die Begegnung mit Meister Ivano Scattolini, einem mantuanischen Akkordeonisten aus Zigeuner-Herkunft, der meinen Spielstil entscheidend beeinflusste
Die Realität des Lebens der Menschen, die Straße, Nachtclubs, Theater und Partys sind die Bilder und Inspirationen, die mich am meisten repräsentieren
In meiner Jugend verbrachte ich den größten Teil meiner Zeit mit der Vertiefung des Klaviers: ein Instrument, das ich für von grundlegender Bedeutung halte, um das Wissen und den Klanghorizont zu erweitern
Ich hatte das Glück, mit vielen Musikern zusammenzuarbeiten und in verschiedenen Kontexten aufzutreten, von Jazz über ethnische Musik, Volksmusik bis hin zu Swing im Stil von Gorni Kramer (Künstler, den ich als Kind in seinem Geburtshaus von Rivarolo Mantovano kennenlernen durfte)
