Esistente da più di 15 anni, ha all’attivo più di 250 concerti in tutta Italia ed Europa; ha conquistato il titolo come “Miglior cover band U2 italiana” al “Beautiful cover 2013”; nel 2015 il chitarrista dei Rejoice ha avuto il piacere e l’onore di suonare con gli U2 durante il loro concerto all’O2 Arena di Londra suonando “Angel of Harlem”; in precedenza è stata invitata a partecipare a grandi raduni fan U2 di fama nazionale a Roma e Torino nello stesso periodo dei concerti italiani degli U2; collabora con il sosia italiano di Bono, collaborazione che ha suscitato l’interesse di Radio Deejay la quale durante il programma “Deejay chiama Italia” ha parlato di loro in diretta.
Scaletta spettacoli
Il loro video-show è uno spettacolo elettrizzante che rispecchia il concerto degli U2 aggiornato con tutte le canzoni ed arrangiamenti proposti dalla band irlandese, ma anche con qualche chicca meno recente per i desideri dei fan degli U2 veterani. Alle loro spalle è presente uno schermo dove viene proiettato, per ogni canzone, un video ad hoc sincronizzato alla canzone suonata.Sono previste sorprese: l’intermezzo acustico, con “Bono” e “The Edge” che girano per il locale/piazza suonando in mezzo al pubblico, ed un’esibizione di danza del ventre, grazie alla loro bravissima ballerina ufficiale che danza durante alcune canzoni del concerto proprio come nello storico Zoo Tv Tour degli U2.
Come definire i Rejoice?
Quattro bravi ragazzi con il vizietto del rock e la bruciante passione per gli U2! I 4 “dublinesi” italiani che completano l’attuale line up sono: Ivan (The Edge) e Ricky (Larry), rispettivamente chitarrista e batterista, storici fondatori della band, Rudy (Adam) bassista e il frontman Luca (Bono) con il quale i Rejoice danno voce agli U2. Dal 2007 continuano le loro scorribande dei Rejoice nelle migliori piazze e locali d’Italia, hanno portato il loro show anche all’estero come in Polonia, Francia, Slovacchia, Germania, portando alta la bandiera irlandese e l’amore per la musica che, come un inno, fa dei Rejoice il tributo agli U2 che viene dal cuore.

Existing for more than 15 years, it has held more than 250 concerts throughout Italy and Europe; won the title as “Best Italian U2 cover band” at “Beautiful cover 2013”; in 2015 the Rejoice guitarist had the pleasure and honor of playing with U2 during their concert at the O2 Arena in London playing “Angel of Harlem”; previously you were invited to participate in large, nationally renowned U2 fan gatherings in Rome and Turin around the same time as U2’s Italian concerts; collaborates with Bono’s Italian double, a collaboration that aroused the interest of Radio Deejay who spoke about them live during the program “Deejay calls Italy”.

Their video show is an electrifying spectacle that reflects the U2 concert updated with all the songs and arrangements proposed by the Irish band, but also with some less recent gems for the wishes of veteran U2 fans. Behind them there is a screen where, for each song, an ad hoc video synchronized with the song played is projected. Surprises are expected: the acoustic interlude, with “Bono” and “The Edge” wandering around the venue/square playing in the audience, and a belly dance performance, thanks to their talented official dancer who dances during some songs of the concert just like in U2’s historic Zoo TV Tour.

Ihre Videoshow ist ein elektrisierendes Spektakel, das das U2-Konzert mit allen von der irischen Band vorgeschlagenen Songs und Arrangements, aber auch mit einigen weniger aktuellen Juwelen für die Wünsche erfahrener U2-Fans aktualisiert widerspiegelt. Dahinter befindet sich eine Leinwand, auf der zu jedem Lied ein Ad-hoc-Video projiziert wird, das mit dem gespielten Lied synchronisiert ist. Überraschungen werden erwartet: das akustische Zwischenspiel, in dem „Bono“ und „The Edge“ durch den Veranstaltungsort/den Platz laufen Publikum und eine Bauchtanzvorführung dank ihres talentierten offiziellen Tänzers, der bei einigen Liedern des Konzerts tanzt, genau wie bei U2s historischer Zoo TV Tour.
