Sono Sara Corna, nasco a Palazzolo sull’Oglio in provincia di Brescia
Fin da giovanissima dimostro uno spiccato talento artistico, in particolare per la musica… sviluppo questa mia passione a Milano studiando canto e solfeggio al C.P.M. Music Institute con importanti insegnanti: Lella Costa, Daniela Ghiglioni, e successivamente con Eloisa Francia, la Jazzista Roberta Gambarini e il Tenore Marcello Merlini
Da quel momento inizio il mio percorso di cantante avvalendomi della collaborazione di apprezzati musicisti e proponendo, con la mia voce calda e potente, un repertorio di brani intramontabili, dallo Standard Jazz, agli Evergreen Italiani ed Internazionali, fino ad arrivare ai Classici Napoletani
Mi sono esibita sui palchi dei più importanti Teatri Italiani, in prestigiosi Festival Jazz, tra cui, il “Festival de Jazz et D’ailleurs Amiens” e il “Porretta Soul Festival”, ed anche in diverse Convention, locali e in varie piazze Italiane
Da qualche anno promuovo “W L’Italia” uno spettacolo musicale che racconta il nostro Bel Paese attraverso alcune tra le più significative canzoni dei nostri artisti più apprezzati
Inoltre, con mia sorella Luisa Corna, mi sono esibita nei Tours: “Acqua futura”, “Non si vive in silenzio” e “Angolo di Cielo”
L’affinità tra le me e mia sorella, cresciute con la stessa passione per la musica, è tale che spesso condividiamo progetti comuni
La mia esperienza è apprezzata anche come collaboratrice vocale presso “Il laboratorio sperimentale”, un progetto a scopo umanitario che sostiene la bellezza delle differenti culture attraverso vari idiomi
Il repertorio è sviluppato in varie lingue: Swaili, Inglese, Spagnolo, Francese e Italiano
Il risultato dello spettacolo è di forte impatto grazie ad un importante lavoro di armonizzazioni vocali e canti a cappella
La passione per tutto ciò che riguarda le potenzialità della “voce” come strumento musicale e soprattutto come espressione umana, mi spingono ad intraprendere il percorso della Psicofonia, disciplina scoperta da Marie-Louise Aucher, che studia la corrispondenza tra le vibrazioni dei suoni e il corpo umano
Da questa esperienza ho realizzato un mio metodo di insegnamento vocale, non solo come fonazione di voce cantata corretta, ma anche come un percorso che porta il cantore alla coscienza di sé
Dal 2011 insegno canto moderno all’Accademia Musicale Riccardo Mosca di Palazzolo sull’Oglio
Artista sensibile… ho partecipato a diversi eventi solidali: nel 2000 per Rai 1 ho dato il mio supporto nella importante manifestazione Telethon svoltasi a Roma
Nel 2005 ho cantato in alcuni spettacoli organizzati dall’Ambref accompagnata da un coro Gospel di 40 elementi
Sempre con il supporto di un coro Gospel nel 2009 e nel 2012 mi sono esibita in occasione del Santo Natale nelle Chiese della Capitale, ed anche in alcune Carceri Laziali, un’iniziativa sostenuta dalla Regione Lazio
Affascinata dal Teatro, sono stata la protagonista nella compagnia “The Off Broadway Co.” nel musical “That’s musical too” interpretando il meglio di alcuni fra i più noti musical americani: “Dreamgirls”, “The Sound of Music”, “West Side Story” e “The Commitments”
La mia voce verrà apprezzata anche al Festival di Napoli nell’edizione del 2002 trasmessa in diretta da Canale 5 e condotta da Iva Zanicchi, interpretando il brano inedito “Io Vivo“, canzone dalle inflessioni Funky-Jazz, disponibile nella Compilation del Festival di Napoli
Da Rai 1 arriverà la proposta di far parte dell’Orchestra della popolare trasmissione “Domenica in” nella stagione 2005/2006, condotta in quella fascia oraria da Massimo Giletti

I am Sara Corna, born in Palazzolo sull’Oglio in the province of Brescia
From a very young age I showed a strong artistic talent, especially for music… I developed this passion in Milan studying singing and solfeggio at the C.P.M. Music Institute with important teachers: Lella Costa, Daniela Ghiglioni, and later with Eloisa Francia, the Jazz musician Roberta Gambarini and the Tenor Marcello Merlini
From that moment on I have begun my career as a singer by availing myself of the collaboration of appreciated musicians and proposing, with my warm and powerful voice, a repertoire of timeless songs, from Standard Jazz, to Italian and International Evergreen, up to the Neapolitan Classics
I have performed on the stages of the most important Italian Theaters, in prestigious Jazz Festivals, including, the “Festival de Jazz et D’ailleurs Amiens” and the “Porretta Soul Festival”, and also in several Conventions, clubs and in various Italian squares
For some years I have been promoting “W L’Italia” a musical show that tells about our beautiful country through some of the most significant songs of our most appreciated artists
Moreover, with my sister Luisa Corna, I performed in Tours: “Acqua futura”, “Non si vive in silenzio” and “Angolo di Cielo”
The affinity between me and my sister, who grew up with the same passion for music, is such that we often share common projects
My experience is also appreciated as a voice collaborator at “The experimental laboratory”, a project for humanitarian purposes that supports the beauty of different cultures through various languages
The repertoire is developed in various languages: Swaili, English, Spanish, French and Italian
The result of the show is of great impact thanks to an important work of vocal harmonizations and a cappella songs
The passion for everything that concerns the potential of the “voice” as a musical instrument and especially as a human expression, push me to take the path of Psychophony, a discipline discovered by Marie-Louise Aucher, who studies the correspondence between the vibrations of sounds and the human body
From this experience I realized my own method of vocal teaching, not only as a phonation of the correct sung voice, but also as a path that leads the singer to self-consciousness
Since 2011 I teach modern singing at the Riccardo Mosca Music Academy in Palazzolo sull’Oglio
A sensitive artist… I participated in several solidarity events: in 2000 for Rai 1 I gave my support in the important event Telethon held in Rome
In 2005 I sang in some shows organized by Ambref accompanied by a Gospel choir of 40 elements
Always with the support of a Gospel choir in 2009 and 2012 I performed on the occasion of Holy Christmas in the Churches of the Capital, and also in some Lazio prisons, an initiative supported by the Lazio Region
Fascinated by theater, I was the protagonist in the company “The Off Broadway Co.” in the musical “That’s musical too” playing the best of some of the best known American musicals: “Dreamgirls”, “The Sound of Music”, “West Side Story” and “The Commitments”
My voice will also be appreciated at the Naples Festival in the 2002 edition broadcast live by Canale 5 and conducted by Iva Zanicchi, interpreting the unreleased song “Io Vivo”, a song with Funky-Jazz inflections, available on the Compilation of the Naples Festival
From Rai 1 will come the proposal to be part of the Orchestra of the popular broadcast “Domenica in” in the season 2005/2006, conducted in that time slot by Massimo Giletti

Ich bin Sara Corna, geboren in Palazzolo sull’Oglio in der Provinz Brescia
Schon in jungen Jahren zeigte ich ein starkes künstlerisches Talent, vor allem für die Musik… Ich entwickelte diese Leidenschaft in Mailand und studierte Gesang und Solfeggio am C.P.M. Music Institute bei wichtigen Lehrern: Lella Costa, Daniela Ghiglioni und später bei Eloisa Francia, der Jazzmusikerin Roberta Gambarini und dem Tenor Marcello Merlini
Von diesem Moment an habe ich meine Karriere als Sängerin begonnen, indem ich die Zusammenarbeit geschätzter Musiker nutzte und mit meiner warmen und kraftvollen Stimme ein Repertoire zeitloser Lieder von Standard Jazz bis zu italienischen und internationalen Evergreen vorschlug, bis zu den neapolitanischen Klassikern
Ich habe auf den Bühnen der wichtigsten italienischen Theater, in renommierten Jazz-Festivals, darunter das “Festival de Jazz et D’ailleurs Amiens” und das “Porretta Soul Festival”, und auch in mehreren Konventionen, Clubs und auf verschiedenen italienischen Plätzen aufgetreten
Seit einigen Jahren promote ich “W L’Italia” eine musikalische Show, die über unser schönes Land durch einige der wichtigsten Lieder unserer geschätzten Künstler erzählt
Außerdem trat ich mit meiner Schwester Luisa Corna in Tours auf: “Acqua futura”, “Non si vive in silenzio” und “Angolo di Cielo”
Die Affinität zwischen mir und meiner Schwester, die mit der gleichen Leidenschaft für Musik aufgewachsen ist, ist so, dass wir oft gemeinsame Projekte teilen
Meine Erfahrung wird auch als Stimmpartner bei “The experimental laboratory” geschätzt, einem Projekt für humanitäre Zwecke, das die Schönheit verschiedener Kulturen durch verschiedene Sprachen unterstützt
Das Repertoire wird in verschiedenen Sprachen entwickelt: Swaili, Englisch, Spanisch, Französisch und Italienisch
Das Ergebnis der Show ist von großer Wirkung dank einer wichtigen Arbeit der Stimmharmonisierung und a cappella Lieder
Die Leidenschaft für alles, was das Potenzial der “Stimme” als Musikinstrument und vor allem als menschlicher Ausdruck betrifft, treibt mich an, den Weg der Psychophonie zu nehmen, einer von Marie-Louise Aucher entdeckten Disziplin, die die Korrespondenz zwischen den Schwingungen der Klänge und dem menschlichen Körper studiert
Aus dieser Erfahrung erkannte ich meine eigene Methode der Gesangslehre, nicht nur als Phonation der richtigen gesungenen Stimme, sondern auch als einen Weg, der den Sänger zum Selbstbewusstsein führt
Seit 2011 unterrichte ich modernen Gesang an der Riccardo Mosca Music Academy in Palazzolo sull’Oglio
Ein sensibler Künstler… Ich habe an mehreren Solidaritätsveranstaltungen teilgenommen: im Jahr 2000 für Rai 1 habe ich die wichtige Veranstaltung Telethon in Rom unterstützt
2005 sang ich in einigen von Ambref organisierten Shows, begleitet von einem 40-köpfigen Gospelchor
Immer mit der Unterstützung eines Gospelchores in den Jahren 2009 und 2012 trat ich anlässlich der Heiligen Weihnachten in den Kirchen der Hauptstadt und auch in einigen Gefängnissen in Latium auf, eine von der Region Latium unterstützte Initiative
Fasziniert vom Theater war ich der Protagonist in der Kompanie “The Off Broadway Co.” im Musical “That’s musical too”, das das Beste aus einigen der bekanntesten amerikanischen Musicals spielte: “Dreamgirls”, “The Sound of Music”, “West Side Story” und “The Commitments”
Meine Stimme wird auch auf dem Naples Festival in der Ausgabe 2002, die live von Canale 5 übertragen und von Iva Zanicchi dirigiert wird, geschätzt. Ich interpretierte das unveröffentlichte Lied “Io Vivo”, ein Lied mit Funky-Jazz-Flexionen, das auf der Compilation des Naples Festivals erhältlich ist
